How do I log a workout?

From the main screen, find your workout template and tap "Log Workout". Enter your reps and weights for each set, rate your form, and tap "Finish" when done.

Where is my data stored?

All your workout data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit any of your information to external servers.

How do I back up my data?

Tap the export button (arrow icon) on the main screen to export all your workout data as a CSV file. You can save this to your Files app, iCloud, or share it however you like.

What happens if I accidentally close the app during a workout?

Don't worry! GainLog automatically saves your workout as a draft. When you return and start the same workout, your progress will be restored.

Go to the workout's history view, tap "Edit" in the top right corner, then tap the red minus button next to the session you want to delete.

💡 Quick Tip: Use the "Enter" button while logging to quickly move from reps to weight, then to the next set. Use "Next Exercise" to jump to the next exercise.
